Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 1,057,058 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 5,600 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 5,275 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 1,700 tonnes of low-grade copper, 1,590 tonnes of zinc ingots, 700 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide, 90 tonnes of coil rebars and 25 trucks.

Based on this report, IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor saw trade of 6,453 tonnes of polymeric products, 1,006 tonnes of slack wax, 628 tonnes of chemicals, 529 tonnes of paraffin wax, 430 tonnes of argon and 100 tonnes of bitumen.

Moreover, the IME sold 3,700 tonnes of copper cathode, 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate, 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 12 tonnes of precious metals concentrate on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 35,000 tonnes of steel blooms and 25,420 tonnes of bitumen.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 910 tonnes of tissues traded on it.
