Today's digest provides helpful and important updates on the following:
Beginning Friday, April 19, through early Monday morning, westbound lanes of Hwy. 12 between Dutton Avenue and Farmers Lane will be partially closed during the day and fully closed in the evenings. This work will also impact connections between westbound SR-12 and US-101.

Also this weekend, westbound State Route 37 will be closed beginning at 9 p.m., Friday, April 19, and concluding at 4 a.m., Monday, April 22, between State Route 29 (Vallejo) and State Route 121 (Sonoma). Signage will be in place for the detour. If possible, consider alternative routes and/or destinations during this roadwork.
This pavement repair project will occur for the next four weekends. Westbound lanes will be closed on weekends of April 19 and April 26. Eastbound lanes will be closed on weekends of May 3 and May 10.

Zero Waste Sonoma invites the public to a free organic compost giveaway on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m.-noon at Keiser Park, 700 Windsor River Rd. in Windsor. The amount of compost is limited, so it's first come, first served. Please bring a shovel to scoop and buckets to haul.
