Carrollton's Destination 2040 Vision Campaign Wants Your Input
Post Date: 4/7/2024 11:31 AM

The City of Carrollton is excited to announce two upcoming opportunities for citizen engagement to shape the vision for Destination 2040. These public input meetings serve as platforms for residents and businesses to provide feedback and contribute to the future of Carrollton.

Two options are available for residents to participate in an open-house style format. Scheduled for April 3 from 6-8 p.m. at the Josey Ranch Lake Library (1700 Keller Springs Road) and April 13 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Hebron and Josey Library (4220 N. Josey Lane), these sessions are designed to be interactive and inclusive, fostering discussion on various aspects of Carrollton - what makes it the place you call home? What do you want to see in the future?

"The City Council envisions Carrollton as the community that families and businesses want to call home," Carrollton Mayor Steve Babick said.

With a commitment to community-driven decision-making, the City of Carrollton seeks input from its residents to ensure that the Destination 2040 vision accurately reflects the aspirations and needs of the people who call Carrollton home.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to attend either of these sessions and to contribute ideas, perspectives, and aspirations for the future of Carrollton. By participating in these forums, citizens can play an active role in shaping the city's development and ensuring that it remains a vibrant and desirable place to live, work, and play.

An online survey will also be available for anyone who is not able to make either of the two in-person meetings and would like to contribute their feedback.
