Take part in the FTI's DÉFI'24 (Challenge'24) competition!

How can we optimise and make the most of production areas? Entries close on 31 May 2024.

BCGE, partner of the Foundation for Industrial Land of Geneva (FTI) and jury member, invites entrepreneurs, craftsmen, researchers, students and inventors from all over French-speaking Switzerland to submit their projects.

2 categories: Projects and Achievements

1^st Prize per category: financial support of CHF 10,000

2^nd Prize per category: financial support of CHF 5,000

The FTI encourages all entrepreneurial initiatives for industrial and craft activities aimed at:

• Saving m² of land and gross floor area dedicated to production
• Adapting manufacturing processes and modernising production tools to optimise the use of natural resources
• Pooling facilities, equipment and infrastructure
• Contributing to low-energy buildings

In this context, it is launching its DÉFI'24 on the theme of "Optimisation of land and production areas: Densification and inter-company pooling."

Find out more about the principles behind the FTI's DÉFI'24:

• To support initiatives that streamline the use of production space and to optimise available land
• To increase efficient options for sharing infrastructure, equipment and buildings and their implementation
• To encourage the parsimonious use of natural resources, raw materials and energy
• To promote the ecological transition to ensure the sustainability of secondary sector activities

The nominees will have 180 seconds to present their projects or achievements to 400 stakeholders and decision-makers at the FTI evening, to be held in autumn 2024.

Agenda

• 31 May 2024: Closing date for entries
• 30 June 2024: Deadline for submitting your project or achievement file
• Autumn 2024: Award ceremony
