Change of the exits at Sofia Airport for internal Bulgaria Air flights

Due to Bulgaria joining the Shengen area at the end of March 2024, the exit at Sofia Airport used for passengers of internal flights operated by the national carrier, changes.

Sofia Airport kindly informs the passengers that from 3 April exits in the internal part of Terminal 2 shall be used for boarding of flights to Varna and Burgas, instead of the specially designated D1 exit used until now.

We advice Bulgaria Air passengers to Varna and Burgas to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled flight in order to have enough time for security check, check-in for the flight and boarding.

We would like to remind our passengers that the check-in for each flight can be made online earlier, at a convenient time and place, in order to avoid long lines at the airport. If you fly with baggage, you can leave it for registering and labeling for the flight at the drop-off desk or at check-in desks at the airport. The close one hour before the scheduled take-off. Passengers with hand baggage only have to either download their electronic boarding pass or to print it. They are supposed to arrive at the airport at least 40 minutes before the flight.
