EXACT Therapeutics presented poster at American Association for Cancer Research

On April 5, EXACT Therapeutics CMO Dr. Amir Snapir and Dr. Prof. Udai Banerji from Royal Marsden Hospital, ACTIVATE trial principal investigator, presented our poster at the annual American Association for Cancer Research meeting in San Diego. The poster, is titled "First-in-human study of acoustic cluster therapy consisting of PS101 combined with chemotherapy and insonation in patients with liver metastases of colorectal cancer origin".

The main conclusions are:

· The results provide proof of concept that treatment with ACT® produces substantial reduction in tumour size in patients treated with standard of care chemotherapeutics.
· The results do not show any unexpected side effects from ACT® on its own or any worsening of the adverse effects of chemotherapy.

It is very encouraging to see these results, which indicate that targeted treatment with ACT is both safe and effective!
