Dentons to integrate Barcelona and Madrid offices

Dentons has taken the strategic decision to integrate its Madrid and Barcelona teams into the Madrid office, in line with the Firm's approach in most European jurisdictions, where the operations in each country are centralized in a single location. As of April 18, 2023, the Firm will no longer have a physical office in Barcelona, but its team of lawyers, including two partners, will continue to provide high quality legal advice to clients in Catalunya and around the world.

In addition to advising their clients, the two partners currently based in Barcelona will continue in their European leadership roles: Nieves Briz as Co-head of the Europe Consumer Products and Services group, and Diego Pol, as Co-head of the Europe Compliance and Investigations group.

Dentons' Spanish practice consists of almost 60 lawyers, including 15 partners. Over the last three years, the Firm has invested in strengthening its presence, capabilities, and market position in Spain, bringing in eight new partners, including six lateral hires and two internal promotions.
