DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie has completed its annual progress report that evaluates its implementation of the Broward County Local Mitigation Strategy. The report was submitted by Town Administration to the Davie Town Councilmembers.
The report indicates the Town has initiated all fifteen (15) action items as it carries out an active flood outreach campaign for its residents. The Town's magazine, the Davie Update, devoted three (3) pages to flood safety, retrofitting, and other information in its 2023 February and, June and 2024 April issues of the publication. In addition, the Town posts flood-specific information at Town facilities.
Copies of this report are available at Town Hall, 8800 SW 36th Street, and the Davie/Cooper City Library, 4600 SW 82nd Avenue.
