Sailing and Kayaking Coaching Camp Concludes at Visakhapatnam

Yachting Association of India's YAI Sailing Level 1, 2 and 3 course and Winter Kayaking Coaching Camp was conducted by Indian Navy Watermanship Training Center INWTC at Visakhapatnam from 26 December 2021 to 02 January 2022. The course saw participation by 22 personnel which included officers, sailors and their dependents. The budding yachtsmen, yachtswomen and rowers, the youngest of whom was nine years old, were taught rope work, rigging of a sail boat, sailing techniques, and launching and recovery of boats under careful supervision by YAI certified Instructor and INWTC Coaches. The capsule also covered basic meteorology and exposure to First Aid including CPR techniques.
