BMI’s Rooftop On The Row Kicks Off Sixth Season with Colbie Caillat and Ryan Larkins

On April 16, BMI kicked off the sixth season of its signature series, Rooftop On The Row, presented by George Dickel, with GRAMMY award-winner Colbie Caillat and Red Street Records artist Ryan Larkins. Hundreds gathered underneath the city skyline atop BMI's Nashville office for free entertainment, music, and drinks provided by the night's sponsors Delta Air Lines, ONErpm, Texas Roadhouse, Topo Chico, White Claw, and Gallagher Insurance.

DJ Smoke set the tone for the evening as BMI's Mason Hunter introduced Larkins to the stage, where he performed "Man That Holds the Beer," his recent single "King of Country Music" off his debut EP, Meet Ryan Larkins, and more. Larkins also highlighted his first No. One hit with a special rendition of Cody Johnson's critically acclaimed chart-topper, "The Painter."

Following Larkins, Caillat kicked off her headlining set with the fan-favorite hit, the 2X Platinum "Fallin' For You," and expressed her gratitude for BMI, as she has been affiliated with the company since the beginning of her career. She continued to captivate the audience with her multi-platinum-certified hits "Bubbly," "Realize," and "Try" while sharing the stage with a few of her Nashville collaborators. Gavin DeGraw joined Caillat for "I Never Told You," while Brett Young joined her onstage for "Worth It." Ashley Cooke and Caillat performed "Mean Girl" from Cooke's debut album, which the two co-wrote with Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins.

BMI's Rooftop On The Row series returns on May 14 with headliners Jackson Dean and Mae Estes, followed by Ella Langley and Redferrin on July 16, and Josh Ross and Lauren Watkins on August 13. The final event on September 17 will serve as the official kickoff to AMERICANAFEST, with performers for the final show to be announced soon. Over the years, the industry event has hosted artists such as Morgan Wallen, Billy Strings, The War and Treaty, HARDY, K. Michelle, Riley Green, Maddie & Tae, Mackenzie Carpenter, and Dylan Marlowe.
