Buena Vista University Launches Affordable Online Master of Education in Educational Administration Program

Buena Vista University (BVU) is proud to announce the launch of its new online Master of Education in Educational Administration program. Focused on building leadership, this M.Ed. program provides currently licensed educators with the necessary knowledge, skills, and certification to excel in a variety of leadership roles within education, including principalship. Graduates of this program receive principal certification in the state of Iowa and in other states on an individual basis.
At $495 per credit hour, BVU is committed to providing a high-quality and affordable option for individuals aspiring to advance their careers in educational leadership.
"Now, more than ever, our schools need great educational leaders," said Dr. Lucas DeWitt, Program Director of BVU's Master of Education programs. "At BVU, we are excited to offer a fully online, affordable, and flexible program for teachers who are dedicated to growing in leadership and becoming administrators."
Designed to accommodate the busy schedules of educators, the M.Ed. program utilizes innovative delivery methods to enhance the learning experience. Each class includes applied simulations and cutting-edge assignments for optimal principal development.

"It's 'pracademics' at its finest; we incorporate practical assignments that embrace adult learning theories, with our classes taught by instructors who have extensive experience in the field."
The BVU M.Ed. faculty brings national perspectives to the program, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education and gain valuable real-world experience. Additionally, BVU has a connected alumni network with graduates working in schools in every county across the state of Iowa, providing students with valuable networking opportunities.
