Eurof expresses its utmost solidarity with the workers and people of the countries affected by the very serious earthquake of today, 6 February, which has already caused hundreds of deaths.
We are particularly close to the trade union organisations in Turkey and Syria, which will have to face a very difficult social situation as a result of the earthquake,

We call on all European trade union organisations affiliated to the World Federation of Trade Union to activate donations to be sent to the affected populations through local trade union organisations.
