  • The search is on for our next batch of collaborative, innovative and effective leaders to run our youth summer camps! We strongly encourage people who are Black, Indigenous, people of color, transgender, non-binary, LGBTQ, immigrants, people with disabilities, and women to apply. This recruitment will close 11:59 pm April 7, 2024. Compensation: $17.56-$26.28 (depending on position)

While our community embraces a vibrant, REAL, creative, arts scene, three once-in-a-generation opportunities are coming up that will change the landscape of Arts, Cultures and Heritage in Olympia.       Show your support for Earth Day by participating in a restoration project at Squaxin Park! The City of Olympia is teaming up with the PARC Foundation of Thurston County and local Lions Clubs to celebrate Earth Day in style, with a fun and exciting volunteer work party. Thanks to Lions Club donations, the school with the most student volunteers will win cash for their school! Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided.   • Please be aware of some upcoming trail and bike corridor impacts on Boulevard Road near the I-5 overpass. We are changing this area to better protect bicyclists and pedestrians crossing the street. We will also extend the existing bike corridor from Lions Park to the Karen Fraser Woodland Trail.
