UWE Bristol ranked sixth among large universities for apprenticeship achievement rate

UWE Bristol has been ranked in sixth place among large university providers for the outcomes of its apprenticeships.

In the Qualification Achievement Rate (QAR) tables for 2022/23, to be published by the Department for Education, the University has achieved a score of 74 per cent. This places UWE Bristol in the top 15 per cent of all providers nationally (both Higher Education and non-Higher Education) and in sixth position for large universities offering apprenticeships.

This result follows UWE Bristol's recent top 20 ranking for best apprenticeship training provider in the UK, awarded by Rate My Apprenticeship.

Simon Flenley, Assistant Director of Apprenticeships at UWE Bristol, said: "It is great to see our apprenticeship provision going from strength to strength. UWE Bristol is incredibly proud of the work we continue to do for those studying an apprenticeship with us. I'd like to thank all our staff for the incredible amount of hard work they undertake to support each apprentice.

"UWE Bristol's success in these tables reflects the high-quality teaching provided to apprentices, along with the effort, dedication and commitment of each apprentice and their supporting employer."

The Qualification Achievement Rate is the measure of a provider's success in delivering an apprenticeship. A successful outcome is defined as an apprentice completing all components of their apprenticeship, including their End Point Assessment.

UWE Bristol delivers 19 higher and degree apprenticeships across different disciplines. A list of the University's higher and degree apprenticeships can be found here. Further information is available on the apprentice and employer pages.
