Update: Appeal to Locate Man Thought to be Injured, Leeds

Police in Leeds are continuing to appeal for information to locate a man believed to be injured following an incident in Leeds City Centre this week. <_o3a_p><_o3a_p>

Enquiries suggest the man in the below images is thought to be Owen Sharp from Middleton, Leeds (also pictured right) and there are growing concerns over his welfare.

Officers are keen to locate him so the seriousness of his injuries, which he is thought to have suffered in the incident in St Paul's Street in the early hours of Tuesday 9 April, can be established as he may require medical attention. <_o3a_p><_o3a_p>

He is described as white male, aged 32, about 5ft5ins, small, with a slim face, brown hair and a stubble beard. <_o3a_p><_o3a_p>

He was captured on CCTV in the burley area yesterday morning wearing an orange coat, grey trousers and white trainers and has links to Armley and Hyde Park.<_o3a_p><_o3a_p>

This is also a direct appeal to Owen himself or anyone he may be with, to contact police as we just want to check he is safe and well. <_o3a_p><_o3a_p>

A new image has been released of a man that police are trying to identify who was the victim of a stabbing incident in Leeds city centre.

Officers are keen to identify and locate him so the seriousness of his injuries, which he is thought to have suffered in the incident in St Paul's Street in the early hours of Tuesday 9 April, can be established.

Detectives investigating a stabbing incident in Leeds city centre have released images of the victim as they continue to appeal for him to come forward.

Officers are keen to identify and locate him so the seriousness of his injuries, which he is thought to have suffered in the incident in St Paul's Street in the early hours of Tuesday 9 April, can be established.

He is described as being about 30 years old and around 5ft 7ins tall.

Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have information which could assist in tracing the victim.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information to help identify the victim of a stabbing in Leeds city centre.

At 2.28am yesterday, police were contacted by the ambulance service who had been called to the incident in St Paul's Street near to the junction with Park Cross Street.

An ambulance had been called after a man approached a member of the public in the street and showed them apparent stab wounds to his torso and head which appeared to be serious. He left the scene prior to the ambulance arriving.

He was described as white, aged about 30, about 5ft 7ins, small, with a slim face, brown hair and a stubble beard. He was described as wearing dark coloured bottoms, possibly three-quarter length, and a white t-shirt which was heavily bloodstained.

Despite extensive enquiries, officers have not yet been able to identify and locate the man to establish the seriousness of his injuries.

A 45-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent in relation to the incident, has been released on bail.

The scenes in various locations in the city centre have now been removed.
