On Sunday, December 17, 2023, at around 9:12 p.m., police received a report of a single motor vehicle personal injury collision on Grandstand Entrance Road near Nearctic Drive.
It is reported that:
- a 41-year-old man was driving a black 2008 Mercedes S45 northbound on Grandstand Entrance Road approaching Nearctic Drive when for unknown reasons he struck a pole on the west side of Grandstand Entrance Road
- the man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, business and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
