A Day of Giving Back: Lyon Real Estate’s Annual Community Service Day in Greater Sacramento

April 26th marked Lyon Real Estate's Annual Community Service Day. This cherished tradition isn't just a date on the calendar; it's a testament to Lyon's unwavering commitment to making a difference in the neighborhoods our company serves. This year, the event witnessed a remarkable turnout, with over 230 team members from 15 branches coming together to embody the Lyon spirit of giving back.

"Community is the cornerstone of Lyon Real Estate's mission, and our Annual Community Service Day embodies the very essence of who we are", says Pat Shea, President and CEO of Lyon Real Estate. "Through acts of service, we not only strengthen the fabric of our communities but also cultivate a culture of compassion and empowerment. Our commitment to giving back reflects Lyon's enduring legacy of care and service."

As Lyon Real Estate team members dove into a day of community service across the Greater Sacramento region, they dedicated more than 60 hours to a diverse array of initiatives focused on uplifting the very communities we call home. Each branch embarked on a journey fueled by a shared passion, united in the mission to enact tangible and meaningful change in their respective neighborhoods.

El Dorado County

In El Dorado County, Cameron Park Branch ventured into the heart of compassion, extending their hands to El Dorado German Shepherd Rescue. With a shared love for animals, Lyon team members worked tirelessly, ensuring the well-being of our four-legged friends and spreading smiles one wagging tail at a time.

Yolo County

In the heart of Davis, Lyon team members extended their hands and hearts to Yolo County Animal Services Shelter. With a shared passion for animal welfare, they embraced the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of furry companions awaiting their forever homes.

Placer County

Meanwhile, in Placer County, Lyon Roseville team members embarked on a journey of compassion to Hearts Landing Ranch. Through their selfless efforts, Lyon team members not only enriched the lives of these horses but also left a mark on the hearts of all who call Hearts Landing Ranch home.

Sacramento County

Down in Elk Grove, our team members joined forces with the Elk Grove Food Bank. In a world where hunger persists as a pressing issue, Lyon team members distribute essentials and nourishment to those in need.

Some of the other organizations that benefited from our Community Service Day included:

  • Auburn Recreation Park (ARD)
  • Fair Oaks Village
  • El Dorado County Food Bank
  • Placer City SPCA
  • Rebuilding Sacramento
  • Rebuilding Together Sacramento
  • Sacramento's Children's Home Crisis Nursery Center
