The 'Liga Endesa de Corazón' is looking for a winning basketball and social inclusion project

  • Endesa and ACB have invited the public to vote for their favourite story or initiative and support for social change through basketball
  • Voting is now open and available online until 20 July through the following link. On the following day the winning initiative will be declared

The great moment for the Liga Endesa de Corazón has arrived. This is the Endesa and the ACB social programme calling for the participation of the entire community of basketball fans. With this programme, Endesa and ACB aim to promote social transformation through basketball values including equality, sustainability, companionship and hard work.

There are €15,000 at stake and they will be shared by the five finalists for this edition that were previously selected from more than 200 competing initiatives. With each of them, Endesa and the ACB have undertaken or supported an action aimed at enabling them to grow and become stronger, as well as making them visible and searching for synergies throughout the campaign. It should be noted that all participants will receive a share of the prize regardless of their final position after the voting. However, project with the most votes will be given the largest prize as a reward for its work in this edition.

To encourage public participation and show that, for the Liga Endesa de Corazón, collaboration and joint effort are both essential, each Endesa League club has donated either exclusive material or unique experiences to encourage participation in the final voting. Participants will be given jerseys signed by their favourite players, enjoy a VIP experience at a Liga Endesa match or participate in a 'Meet & Greet' forum with the players of one of the teams in the competition. On 21 July the winner of the contest will be announced, so we invite everyone to vote for their favourite story or initiative before that deadline.

Endesa and ACB reaffirm their commitment to solidarity projects and causes that contribute to making the world a better place, using basketball as an indispensable vehicle for social transformation. Through the Liga Endesa de Corazón, both organisations aim to promote values including solidarity, companionship and inclusion. This will demonstrate the power of sport to generate a positive impact on society.

We encourage everyone to actively participate in this final phase of voting to encourage support and acknowledgment for stories and initiatives that have shown outstanding commitment to social change. Together, we can make a difference and create a more caring and inclusive future.
