Book now - Tech Savvy Seniors – free sessions coming up

Do you know a senior who could benefit from getting tech savvy with a computer, mobile phone or tablet? If so, maybe you can let them know about this great opportunity to get online and be confident about it!

Free 'Tech Savvy Seniors' workshops are being offered by Hawkesbury Library Service during February and March. It can really open your world to helpful and exciting services that are available online and it's another great way to be connected. It's easier than you think - you might even like to learn how to buy and sell online.

Buying and selling online

Wednesday, 21 February 10am to midday

Introduction to buying and selling online; the session will cover Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace, and eBay.

A device is not required for this session.

Beginner: Introduction to tablets

Wednesday, 6 March 10am to midday

This workshop is for people who have never used a tablet (a small portable computer that accepts input directly on to its screen rather than via a keyboard or mouse) but are interested in finding out what they can be used for. BYO Device.

All sessions will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. Bookings are essential and can be made via www.hawkesburylibrary.eventbrite.com or call the Library on 4560 4460 to book.
