Meeting with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China

On April 27, 2024, Mr. Farhod Salim, Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan held a meeting with the delegation of the People's Republic of China headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of this country Mr. Sun Weidong.

At the meeting, they discussed priority areas of bilateral relations of comprehensive strategic partnership, cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations, such as the UN, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as within the newly established mechanism "Central Asia-China".

The sides exchanged views on strengthening joint efforts in combating terrorism and extremism.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the content and organization of the forthcoming state visit of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping to the Republic of Tajikistan.
