Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria Assists AMCO in the Purchase of €390 Million NPEs from Iccrea BCC Group

MILAN - Feb. 16, 2023 - Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria advised AMCO on a contract with 78 Iccrea BCC Group banks to purchase €390 million (gross book value) of loans, of which 33% are Unlikely to Pay (UTP) and 67% are Non-Performing Loans (NPL). The portfolio is primarily comprised of corporate loans related to small to medium-sized enterprises. The transaction is the result of a competitive process involving several market players and is part of a wider Iccrea BCC Group de-risking project.
