COLUMBUS, Ohio - The 48^th Annual Woody Hayes Celebrity Classic, a new featured event of Play Yellow, will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, and will honor Jack and Barbara Nicklaus. Over the last 47 years, this event has raised more than $2.9 million to support children in central Ohio and beyond.

The Nicklaus' have established a lifelong commitment to helping to save the lives of children by supporting children's hospitals. Their personal efforts have made enormous impact on hospitals including Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and Nicklaus Children's in Miami, Florida.

"Play Yellow for Children's Hospitals," led by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, the PGA TOUR, and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, strives to bring the entire golf world together to help the children treated at local children's hospitals each year.

All proceeds benefit The Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The Institute is a distinguished center for research, dedicated to bringing research discoveries from the lab to the patient's bedside. Areas of focus include new insight into basic biological processes or finding a pioneering strategy to treat injury or disease. The institute's goal is discovery and innovation that improves the health and quality of life for children and their families.
