Messan Jordan Benissan featured on Maine Public's Assignment: Maine

Messan Jordan Benissan, the owner of Me Lon Togo Bistro in Camden, was recently featured on Maine Public's Assignment: Maine.

Benissan grew up in Togo, West Africa where he learned from his family how to cook traditional West African cuisine as well as become a master drummer. As a musician, he's traveled around America until he found his home in Maine where he's been teaching West African drumming at Colby College for over 20 years. As a chef, he's opened Me Lon Togo Bistro in Camden which has become a popular destination for West African and European cuisine, culture and live music.
