L.B. Foster Subsidiary, Chemtec Energy Services, Receives ISO Certification

Chemtec's standard operating procedures have earned the Company an ISO 9001:2015 certification which is scoped for design, fabrication, and installation of metering skids and additive and dye injection systems for the oil and gas industry.

Chemtec had a Quality Management System that was structured around the ISO 9001:2008 model, yet never certified, and set out to achieve the official certification. Led by Chemtec Quality Manager, Josh Bramlett who partnered with L.B. Foster Senior Quality Manager, Jerry Holmes to review the Company's Quality Management System and provide input to the changes required for the ISO 9001:2015 model.

Mr. Bramlett updated, re-formatted, and created Standard Operating Procedures to fall in alignment with the ISO 9001:2015 model. Throughout 2019, 2020 and 2021, Chemtec went through an internal audit, certification registrar audit and, in April 2021, the Company successfully completed its phase 2 audit and was awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification.

'It was a team effort across L.B. Foster and Chemtec throughout the last two years to get to this point and we are very proud of this achievement,' said Josh Bramlett. 'It continues to ensure that product and service quality are the top priority.'
