Linda Thomas Brooks, PRSA CEO, Named Member of PRNEWS’ 2024 Class of Top Women

Thomas Brooks Recognized as an Industry Champion

New York, APRIL 17, 2024 - PRSA CEO Linda Thomas Brooks, PRSA CEO, has been named to PRNEWS' 2024 Class of Top Women. She was recognized in the Industry Champions category, which honors women "who've had an exceptional impact on the direction and advancement of the P.R. and communications industry beyond the impact at their own companies."

Thomas Brooks was named CEO of PRSA in January 2021. In this role, she is responsible for all program, financial, and operational aspects of the organization. Reporting to and collaborating closely with PRSA's Board of Directors, she guides the development and implementation of PRSA's strategic vision and plan as well as the programs and policy positions necessary to support the membership.

Throughout her multi-faceted career, Thomas Brooks has operated at the intersection of marketing, media, communications and technology. Prior to PRSA, she served as President/CEO of the Association of Magazine Media. Her other key roles included serving as President of Ingenuity Media at The Martin Agency and EVP, Managing Director of General Motors Mediaworks.

Additionally, Thomas Brooks has also been named an Ad Age Women to Watch, was honored as one of Folio's Top 100 Execs, has been presented an AWNY Impact Award for Mentoring, and was inducted into the AAF Advertising Hall of Achievement. She was a Corporate Fellow at GOOD/Upworthy and is one of the founding executives of the non-profit Institute for Advertising Ethics.
