All you need to know about Bracknell Forest Pride

If you're coming to Bracknell Forest Pride on Saturday 10 June, here is what you need to know.

What Bracknell Forest Pride is

The family friendly event will celebrate and support the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. It will be about welcoming local people in unity and solidarity, enjoying the day in love and friendship.

There will be free music and entertainment as well as a dedicated marquee area for support and advice.

Dates and timings

Bracknell Forest Pride is on Saturday 10 June. It starts at midday in Bond Square, The Lexicon (between M&S and Waitrose).

The last musical act will finish at around 7pm.

There is no entry fee for Bracknell Forest Pride.

Attendees can watch performers, get their face painted, and get glammed up with glitter all free of charge.

Prices apply at food and drink stalls.

You can read the full list of musical acts on The Lexicon pride page.

Parades and after parties

There won't be a parade for the first Bracknell Forest Pride but, it is something that may be added in future.

There is also no official after party, but guests are welcome to enjoy the sights of The Lexicon and other areas of Bracknell Forest after the last act finishes.

Pets policy

Dogs are welcome on site. However, the event can be noisy and there is limited shelter, so discretion is advised. It might be warm weather too, so bear that in mind.

Ticketing

Bracknell Forest Pride is free to enter and not ticketed. Come on down.

Children welcome

Children are welcome as we are a family friendly event and encourage everyone to come along. We do ask that young children are supervised at all times. Performers are briefed that the event is family friendly and all material must be suitable for our younger guests.

Clothing policy

It is important that you do wear something as this is a family event - but otherwise wear what you like.

Parking

There are a number of car parks within easy reach of Bond Square.

You can find these on The Lexicon parking page.

Train travel

If you are travelling by train, there will be a signage at the station directing travellers to Bond Square.

Photography

We will have a photographer taking official photos. These photos will be used for communications and marketing purposes by Bracknell Forest Council, The Lexicon and other partners involved in running Pride.

The official photographer will take limited photos in the marquee as we want people to feel comfortable getting advice and information. Attendees are politely asked not to take photos in the marquee between 2pm and 4pm.
