With the potential for severe weather and new residents in our community we'd like to remind people to sign up for Alert Punta Gorda! This system allows us to reach out to the entire community or target specific areas in case of emergencies or urgent situations that require immediate attention, such as natural disasters (hurricane warnings or fires), man-made disasters (chemical spills or gas leaks), search and rescue situations (missing children or endangered adults), sexual offender alerts, and more. You have the power to choose how you receive time-sensitive alerts. Whether it's through your home or business phone, mobile phone, email, text message, or other channels, you're in control of your settings.
