Following the meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Chile Gabriel Boric in New York, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak had a phone call with Carlos Figueroa, Political and International Affairs Advisor to the Office of the President of the Republic of Chile.

Andriy Yermak thanked the interlocutor for Chile's support of Ukraine's fight against Russian aggression.

The Head of the President's Office praised the participation of the Chilean representative in the meeting of national security and political advisors in Malta on the restoration of lasting and just peace based on the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

The parties discussed further steps to implement the Formula, including preparations for the inaugural Global Peace Summit.

In the context of Ukraine's efforts to ensure global food security, the Head of the Presidential Office invited Chile to join the "Grain from Ukraine" humanitarian initiative, which our country implements jointly with the UN World Food Programme and within which Ukraine supplies grain to the poorest countries of the world.
