Rep. Haas Celebrates IBHE Grants for Olivet Nazarene University

KANKAKEE- Following the announcement of the recipients for this year's Independent Colleges Capital Investment Grant Program, State Representative Jackie Haas (R-Kankakee) released the following statement:

"I am delighted that Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais is receiving over $10 million in grant funding from the Independent College Capital Investment Grant Program," said Rep. Haas. "Olivet Nazarene is a world-class higher education institution that provides educational and employment opportunities for thousands of residents in the 79th District. This grant is a well-deserved recognition of their outstanding work and dedication to our community."

This year, the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the Illinois Capital Development Board awarded over $400 million in grants through the Independent Colleges Capital Investment Grant Program for the purpose of on-campus construction, repair, and renovations.

Rep. Haas concluded, "Thank you to the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the Illinois Capital Development Board for ensuring that educational opportunities are available to students across the state of Illinois."
