WSWA Hires Chelsea Crucitti as Senior Director of State Affairs

Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America President and CEO Michelle Korsmo today announced the hiring of Chelsea Crucitti as senior director of State Affairs

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) President and CEO Michelle Korsmo today announced an expansion of the organization's state affairs team with the hiring of Chelsea Crucitti as senior director of state affairs. In her new role, Chelsea will be act as a state lobbyist, coordinating with local WSWA members and state wholesaler associations to advocate and take action on local policy and regulations.

'We are happy that we could bring Chelsea back to the DMV - for a role that will send her on the road. Her experience advocating on behalf of state associations complements our existing strength and she is a great addition to the team and a valuable resource to our members,' said Korsmo.

Chelsea began her career in state government affairs as an intern in the Vermont State Senate before joining KSE FOCUS LLP in Montpelier, Vermont where she tracked and reported on nationwide legislation and regulations impacting a wide range of industries including financial services, health insurance, and telecom. Chelsea entered the trade association world in 2009, moving to Washington, D.C. to work as a state lobbyist for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and then the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA).

'I am eager to get started,' said Crucitti. 'In this industry, each state faces a unique set of needs and regulatory hurdles- I am excited to bring my experience to the table and meet the challenges head on.'
