Troutman Pepper Recognized by Georgia Legal Food Frenzy for Efforts to Reduce Food Insecurity Across State
ATLANTA - Troutman Pepper has been named among the statewide winners in the 10th Annual Georgia Legal Food Frenzy which helps those experiencing food insecurity across the state through a two-week fundraising competition. The firm was recognized in the large law firm category for its efforts to fight hunger.
In total, the 10th annual Georgia Legal Food Frenzy Competition raised a record-breaking $936,883 statewide, providing 3.7 million meals to fight hunger in Georgia. The annual fundraiser is hosted jointly by the Georgia Attorney General, the State Bar and YLD, and the Georgia Food Bank Association.
'We are proud to participate in this annual fundraiser which provides meals for families in need across 29 counties in Georgia,' said Troutman Pepper Partner James Stevens, who serves on the Advisory Board for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. 'This year has seen more people turn to food pantries for assistance and it's important for us as a firm to step up and help where we can.'
