AGH University researcher to be an international geodesy commission delegate

An AGH University Associate Professor from the Faculty of Geo-Data Science, Geodesy, and Environmental Engineering, Agnieszka Bieda, has been selected as a delegate of a commission of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG).

FIG is a federation comprising national geodesy associations from various countries, one of which is also the Association of Polish Surveyors (SGP).

There are as many as 10 commissions in FIG and, at the end of 2023, the Board of SGP decided on new delegates for each one of them for the 2023-2026 term. The researcher from the AGH University has been chosen for the 3rd commission, whose main area of interest is digital information management but also active engagement in the development of a LADM profile and a 3D cadastre.
