Eagle Road Closure

Denton, TX - April 17, 2024 - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is closing Eagle Drive between Elm and Locust starting MONDAY, May 6, as part of a road rehabilitation project on US77 between Eagle Drive and McKinney Street. The closure on Eagle Drive between Elm and Locust is anticipated to last for a month and is the first in a series of gradual closures scheduled to continue until the project's anticipated completion in Fall 2024. Detours related to future lane closures will be announced as they occur.

Upon completion of the project, Eagle Drive will be fully reconstructed. Residents are asked to be mindful of work crews during this time and avoid the area if possible. For more details on this project, please visit TxDOT's project tracker website.
