Turner Sports and Taylor Rooks Reach Multi-Year Extension

Rooks to Continue Popular Bleacher Report Interview Series, While Expanding Role to Include Featured Interview Segments and Appearances Across Turner Sports Programming

Turner Sports, a division of Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, and Taylor Rooks have reached a multi-year extension that will expand her presence throughout Bleacher Report and Turner Sports. Rooks, a Sports Emmy nominee in the "Outstanding Personality, Emerging On-Air Talent" category this past year, is well-known for her entertaining, conversational and informative interviews with standout athletes and newsmakers.

Per the new agreement, Rooks will continue to conduct highlighted interviews for Bleacher Report, while also expanding her contributions to include special interview segments and appearances for NBA on TNT and other Turner Sports programming.

"Taylor is a formidable sports persona with a distinct ability to engage in conversations that are both insightful and entertaining," said Tara August, Senior Vice President, Talent Services & Special Projects, Turner Sports. "Her personality is infectious, and we're thrilled to continue to showcase and grow her many talents across Turner Sports and Bleacher Report."

Rooks has been featured in the New York Times, along with a number of other respected outlets, for the relevancy and "viral" nature of her content offerings, including spotlighted conversations with stars Kevin Durant, Ja Morant, Sue Bird, Allen Iverson, Michael B. Jordan, Quavo, Micah Parsons, DK Metcalf, and countless others.

Her interviews showcase a unique ability to connect with athletes, musicians, and other influencers on a deeper level, often touching on important topics such as mental health, diversity, equity and inclusion, and parenthood. These thought-provoking conversations have sparked widespread interest and engagement from Bleacher Report's passionate fan base, with the videos regularly reaching millions of viewers.

"I'm thrilled to be expanding upon my role with Bleacher Report and Turner Sports and am immensely proud of everything that we have built so far: a platform to host compelling, news making conversations with some of the most engaging sports figures of our time," said Rooks. "Being able to conduct long form interviews has been my dream since I was a little girl, and I'm so thankful to continue my time with the company that made that a reality. I'm lucky to work with such an amazing team and so excited about what's next."

Rooks will also continue to host the 'Taylor Rooks X' vodcast and live Twitter Spaces throughout the NBA season, among her many contributions across Turner Sports and Bleacher Report platforms.

In addition to her expanded responsibilities with Turner Sports and Bleacher Report, Rooks is also being announced today as a features reporter for Prime Video's Thursday Night Football coverage beginning this season.

Rooks joined Bleacher Report in 2018, having previously been a reporter and anchor for SportsNet New York (SNY). She hosted her own podcast, TimeOut with Taylor Rooks, at the same time. Taylor has also worked as a host, reporter and correspondent for the Big Ten Network and as a sideline reporter for CBS Sports Network.

A native of Georgia, Taylor attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she majored in broadcast journalism and reported on football and basketball recruiting for scout.com.
