The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of two arrests made in a Robbery investigation.
It is alleged that:

On Friday, April 5, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the victim met with a potential buyer of a cellphone that was listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace
-
they agreed to meet in the Midland Avenue and Danforth Road area
-
two men arrived in a gray, 2017 Honda Civic
-
one of the men exited the vehicle, approached the victim and asked to see the phone
-
the man took the phone and returned to the vehicle
-
the victim confronted the man in an attempt to get the phone back
-
the man then pointed a handgun at the victim
-
both men fled the area in the vehicle with the victim's cellphone
Kevonte Murry, 19, of Toronto has been arrested and charged with:

2 counts of Carry Concealed Weapon

He is scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 103.
Jahziah Griffiths, 19, of Brampton has been arrested and charged with:
