Rome, March 29, 2024 - Scandals have always been present in the world of soccer: from "Totonero" to Calciopoli, passing through Mano de Dios to the latest cases of soccer betting involving players of the Italian national team. These and many other cases are the focus of "Under Investigation: scandals in soccer," the new docu-series produced by Velocity Vision with executive production by ILBE and directed by a pool of filmmakers.

"Contributing to the production of a series on the world's most popular sport was a great opportunity for us." Commented Andrea Iervolino, CEO and founder of ILBE. "Under Investigation: scandals in soccer offers an in-depth look at some of the most controversial and significant events in soccer history. We are excited to partner with Velocity Vision to explore the complex dynamics surrounding this beloved and controversial sport."

The series consists of 40 episodes of 22 minutes each. Starting with "The Case of the Partenopean of 1906," one of the first teams involved in a betting scandal, Under investigation traces the most striking cases in the world of football: from Maradona to Bosman, from Suarez to Messi via Neymar. Plus: the "Qatar case," soccer betting, racism, corruption in FIFA and Calciopoli .
