STUDY VISIT TO LATVIA FOR JOURNALISTS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

The purpose of the visit is to provide participants with practical knowledge about Latvia's integration into the European Union and to educate journalists about EU enlargement policy.

The agenda of the visit will include meetings at key public institutions and economic entities in Latvia, discussions with entrepreneurs, journalists from the local press, members of the Moldovan diaspora in Latvia, thus reflecting the diversity and complexity of relations between the EU and the member states.

All costs of participating in the project, including transport, accommodation and meals, will be covered by the European Union.

The selection of journalists will be based on the application forms, which candidates can submit online, until April 30, 2024, at 11:00 p.m., to the email address: [email protected], with the subject: "Study visit - Latvia".

The conditions of participation and eligibility criteria are described in the related application form. It is important that journalists have media experience and a demonstrated interest in EU issues.

This study visit is part of the series of projects organized by the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, intended to support journalists in documenting and communicating topics related to the European Union and its external relations. The EU delegation has been organizing study visits for the press since 2015, in order to facilitate direct access to knowledge of European good practices.
