SWCC board sets new public hearing date for FY2025 budget at special meeting

The Southwestern Community College (SWCC) board of directors met in special session on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 8:30 a.m., in the Administration Center board room.

Brandi Shay, SWCC chief financial officer, spoke briefly regarding the proposed fiscal year 2025 certified budget. Shay reminded the board the total proposed levy rate is $1.02568 and the proposed spending authority will be $34.883 million.

Following Shay's comments, the board approved the public hearing date for the proposed fiscal year 2025 college budget. The public hearing will take place on May 14, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., in the Administration Center board room.
