WHAT:

Mayor Andre Dickens, alongside Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05), will announce the first-ever federal funding to the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation for the renovation of historic Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 16. The $500,000 investment was secured as part of this year's government funding package. The investment will enhance public safety for the Vine City and English Avenue Communities by renovating Fire Station 16, which housed Atlanta's first Black firefighters.
