Basic Life Support (BLS) Classes

HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) is the American Heart Association (AHA)'s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor. The course dates/times will be for the hands-on skills session only. A code for the online course will be provided to the participants after registration is complete.

• Requirements: Certificate of completion of the AHA HeartCode BLS online portion (to be submitted electronically prior to hands-on skills session)
• Cost: $100 (includes the online course and the in-person hands-on skills check)
• Minimum capacity per session: 4
• Maximum capacity per session: 12
• Location: UAA Health Sciences Building, Anchorage, AK
