100th May Fete Parade & Fair Takes Place This Saturday, May 4!
The City is inviting everyone to celebrate 100 Years of the May Fete Parade & Fair this Saturday, May 4 (rain or shine!) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to dress up in clothes from their favorite decade from the past century and bring something to put into the time capsule. Those who don't have a group to walk with in the parade may join the City of Palo Alto Friends, Families, and Pets category by checking in at the corner of University and Emerson by 9:30 a.m. The parade starts at University Avenue and Emerson Street and ends at Heritage Park for the fair, where there will be fun games, booths, a chance to share input on City priorities like Safe Streets for All. Visitors can also learn about the Downtown Housing Plan, and discover how to switch to a heat pump water heater and more!
