The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulosmet, on Wednesday 22 March 2023, with the Ambassador of Japan Mr. Nakayama Yasunori.

During the meeting, they underscored the importance of the strategic partnership of Greece and Japan and the will to reinforce the bilateral defence cooperation.

They also exchanged views on the security challenges in the wider region and, in this context, they stressed the need to respect the International Law and the principle of good neighbourliness.
