YPN Member Spotlight: Amanda Hall

Get to know Amanda Hall, Business Office Manager for CardFree!

What brought you to Sonoma County, and why did you join YPN?

I moved here with my husband (who is a Santa Rosa native) in late 2021. Because Sonoma County was new to me, I was eager to find like-minded people I could connect with, both personally and professionally.

What can YPN do for you?

YPN has led me to create a ton of great new friendships, learn more about my new city and give back to my community.

Where can other members connect with you?

I'd love to connect on LinkedIn!

What do you enjoy most about YPN?

YPN is such a welcoming group of people, and I'm so grateful to be a part of the organization. Every time we get together, we get to experience something new and fun all while learning more about each other. It's seriously the best way to network!

Share with us a fun fact that not many people know about!

I lived in Madrid, Spain in 2017, taught English to school-aged kids and traveled the world. Best experience of my life!

What are you most excited for this year?

Continuing to build great relationships with other YPN members, and discover even more about my new home in Sonoma County.

What would you like other members to know about you?

If you're new to YPN, or it's your first event, I know firsthand how intimidating it can be to "get out there" and meet a host of new faces. Please come find me, tap me on the shoulder and let's chat. I'd love to meet you and show you around!

Now more than ever it is important to support local. What businesses or organizations would you like us to look out for and support?

L'Oro di Napoli, Copperfield Books, Botany Zhi...to name a few.

What is your favorite way to spend your day off?

If I need some fresh air: hiking or biking. If I'm feeling adventurous, wine tasting or something fun like bowling. And always spending time with my husband and dog, Jackson.

What, in your experience, makes Sonoma County a unique place to live?

The people. I've lived in various counties in Northern California and nothing compares to the welcoming and friendly nature of my neighbors. I know that I'll continue to create amazing memories here for years to come.
