THE STUDENTS OF JET INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL VISITED THE MONGOLIAN STOCK EXCHANGE

"The Mongolian Stock Exchange" JSC welcomed the teachers of Jet International School and their 11th and 12th grade students on February 1, 2024. This visit marked the commencement of the school's "7 Days of Business" program, which encompasses various planned events. As part of this program, an introductory trip to the "Mongolian Stock Exchange" was arranged, presenting insights to the students.

During this particular event, we engaged in a short discussion with E. Baasantseren, the social studies teacher who led the trip. He stated, "The high school program of our school has several subjects. Within the international NCC program, students receive education in business economics, while the national core program's Social Studies course encompasses the study of "economics," with a particular emphasis on stock exchanges and investment.

Consequently, it holds great importance for our team to grasp the essence of the national and international curriculum to gain a comprehensive understanding of their practical endeavors and to acquire knowledge about the historical background and functioning of the central national organization.

Our students are also experiencing great satisfaction. To broaden the high school students' understanding of the capital market, we organized a guest speaker event as part of the "7 Days of Business" program. Subsequently, they embarked on a practical lesson, which proved to be highly beneficial in their educational journey.

12th grade student T. Telmuun:

We appreciate the valuable opportunity you have provided to the students studying business and economics to gain practical knowledge about the functioning of the Mongolian Stock Exchange. It is often said by my parents that "each Mongolian holds a share." Yesterday, the news broke, revealing that "1072 shares commenced paying dividends." This event instantly captured our attention, igniting our desire to understand the concept of shares and their potential benefits. At that time, I came to the main stock trading hall and entered the imaginary environment that I saw in the movie. It is a very interesting journey.

Ali Vaziri, a business teacher; E. Baasantseren, a social studies teacher; L. Bolor, operations manager; and O. Enkhjin, a data analyst from Jet International School, coordinated this event at the Mongolian Stock Exchange.
