A tribute to Andrew Millar

British Marine is sad to share the tragic news that Andrew Millar has passed away suddenly. Andrew had been working with MDL Marinas for four years, initially at their Brixham Marina and most recently as marina manager at Ocean Village Marina.
Prior to joining MDL, Andrew had worked for Carnival UK as Entertainment and Retail Director for Ocean Village Holidays, Retail Product Director for P&O Cruises as well as breaking into the wellbeing sector for cruise line, Carnival. He was instrumental in Cunard becoming one of the first major sponsors of Southampton Pride, which still stands to this day.
Lesley Robinson, CEO of British Marine, said: 'Andrew will be a great loss to the marine industry. I recruited him into MDL and like so many I am still in shock with this news. He had great energy and a love of life and people, and he will be missed by all. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.'
