Dominion Energy summer interns from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University share lessons learned

Felisse: The greatest takeaway from my time here at Dominion Energy is don't be afraid to ask questions. There are always opportunities at Dominion Energy to learn something new, often I do ask questions to either confirm what I thought the answer was or to clarify something that I was confused about.

Jordan: With working in Human Resources, I have learned the ins and outs of what makes a candidate look attractive on the recruiting side. I gained a new respect for the hiring process because as someone on the outside, I thought it was so simple to look at the resume and simply say, 'I want these people to be interviewed.' I also will take the lesson of not limiting myself. Coming into my internship, I was very unsure of how my marketing background would factor into a staffing role, but I have come to find out that I fit right into whatever I need to do.
