Armadale Detectives are seeking information regarding a burglary incident at a residence in Thornlie today, Saturday 4 May 2024, during which the two residents were assaulted.
About 10:55am, police were called to the Bremer Place residence after one of the residents sought help from a neighbour. Police and St John WA personnel attended the scene and established both occupants - a woman in her 50s and a male in his 40s - had been assaulted during the incident.
A woman had attended the residence, and after a short conversation at the front door she forced her way inside the residence armed with a bladed weapon. The male occupant received a stab wound injury to his neck, and during the struggle with the woman he became separated from his wheelchair. The female resident received an arm injury. Both residents were taken to hospital by St John WA.

The female offender is described as being olive skinned, about 20 years old, of medium height and build, with shoulder-length black hair. At the time of the incident she was wearing blue jeans, a brown and white striped long-sleeved shirt and a black cap with a motif or writing on the front.
