AMOC Sparks Innovation at EGYPES Seventh Energy Show

Under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi , the Egypt Energy Show is inaugurated today, Monday the 19th of February 2024, with the theme "Driving Energy Transition, Security and Decarbonisation" . This seventh edition marks a significant shift, led by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and guided by Eng. Tarek El-Molla's vision to transform the event into a global platform championing the transition to green energy, supporting the petroleum sector, fostering collaboration, and showcasing innovative solutions and strategies to fortify the industry. This year, AMOC participates in the show at booth number 3D20 in Hall 3, extending a warm welcome to visitors from February 19 to 21. Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) plays a pivotal role in meeting local market demands for petroleum products and base oils. Additionally, it contributes with fuel oil quantities to curtail the import costs and support power stations in Egypt. The conference has evolved beyond its original petroleum-centric focus, embracing a more comprehensive energy approach. It addresses global trends such as energy transition, emissions reduction, and promoting industry-wide efforts to reduce carbon footprint. Eng. Tarek El-Molla emphasized that this positive transformation aligns with the world's significant interest in energy transition and emission reduction, especially following Egypt's successful hosting of COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh. The conference showcases Egypt's commitment to integrated energy systems, underscoring the significance of unifying diverse energy components into a cohesive system.
