This publication is the formal notice required under section 277A of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (as inserted by the Health and Care Act 2022).

It sets out what information is required by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care from adult social care providers regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

    Updated the list of information required to remove 'full primary course of the COVID-19 vaccination' from the collection for directly employed staff, agency or bank staff, residents and home care setting staff; and removal of full primary course definition.

    Updated the list of information required to remove '(vacant) not available for admission - reasons bed not available' and to clarify that COVID-19 vaccination data is required when collected as part of a campaign. Removed 'PPE availability' from the list of operational support data items.

    Updated the list of mandatory data items to replace references to 'autumn booster' with 'seasonal booster'. A definition of this has been added to the section on COVID-19 vaccination question definitions.
