Just in time for our latest round of high temperatures this summer, the Warren G. Magnuson Park wading pool has been repaired! Multiple bonfires in the wading pool caused over $10,000 in damages that required replacing three damaged drain covers, repairing the cement surface, clearing drain lines, fixing the filling spigot, and more.

Seattle Parks and Recreation is installing a fence over the wading pool to deter future nighttime vandalism. We have also launched a messaging campaign to help spread the word on protecting our parks.

The Magnuson Park wading pool is scheduled to be open daily, 12:15pm to 6:30pm through Labor Day. See our full wading pool schedules here. Wading Pools are open on sunny days when the temperature is forecast to be 70 degrees or above. Please call the Wading Pool Hotline to verify hours and open/closed status the day of your visit: 206-684-7796
